Plane crashes in Dominica: No fatalities

Date:

Caribbean news. There has been an accident involving a small aircraft at the Canefield Airport.

The incident took place on Sunday afternoon. CEO of the Dominica Air and Seaport Authority (DASPA) told DNO the aircraft was a private one coming into Dominica from Venezuela.

He said there were six passengers and one crew member aboard. He stated that one person suffered lacerations when exiting the aircraft.

That person was treated but not hospitalized. Eyewitnesses said a wing on the aircraft was damaged and so was a fence surrounding the airport.

Investigations into this matter continue. Article courtesy http://dominicanewsonline.com. View video of CaribDirect’s latest event here
