This special occasion was organised by NTN Network Ltd in Association with a number of Cameroonian charities and community groups: the Cameroon Community Welfare Development Association (CACOWEDA) UK, Femmes Dynamiques UK and Femmes Modernes UK. The Miss Cameroon UK Beauty Pageant is an innovative way to put Cameroon on the world map and to let friends of Cameroon learn about our history, culture, tradition and all aspects of Cameroonian life including tourism and investment potential. It is a celebration of the beauty and talent of every Cameroonian woman.
The main sponsor for the second year was Brussels Airlines who offered to raffle a FREE ticket to Cameroon. Seme Beach offered a three night stay at their hotel.
The contestants for 2011 were, Gladys, Linda, Pamela N, Suzy, Sarah, Lizette, Josiane, Pamela P and Jennifer who all appeared on stage in this order.
The judges selected for this extraordinary event were: Head judge:

3-.Cllr Anna Mbachu, Immediate Past Mayor of Waltham Forest.
4- Space Clottey, Founder and CEO of Voice Of Africa Radio.
5- Justina Mutale, CEO of Red Ribbon Models and Positive Runway.
6- Theodora Ibekwe, Founder of Miss Elegant UK.
7- Xaverie Mutombo, Super Model and CEO of Vanity Locks Real Hair.
8- Kofo Ewokolo Anjorin, Biomedical Scientist.
9- Evelyne Kemah, Senior UK Civil Servant.
10- Victoria Inyama, Nollywood Superstar.
The prizes ranged from a Cash prize of £1000 awarded to the Queen by NTN Network; a weekend in Europe also sponsored by NTN Network; magazine subscription by Amina Magazine; to beauty products awarded by DoNice Beauty System.
The girls made appearances in Traditional Wear, Swim Wear and later, Evening Wear to the delight of the audience. They were also judged within the following categories:

Ms Popular – Jennifer
Best Evening Wear – Gladys
Best African Wear – Lizette
Best Team Player – Gladys
Second Runner Up – Sarah

The Cameroonian Deputy High Commissioner in London Mr Nkwelle Ekaney presided over the proceedings by crowning the new Queen Ms Lizette Forkwa and giving her his blessing.
From all appearances the event was very well received. Event organiser Mr Richard Tchoutezo confirmed to CaribDirect that the event met with his expectations and he and his team are very pleased with the outcome and the support of their sponsors and other supporters.
