Girls paraded

Recession or not…The Cameroon community in London were out in their numbers to celebrate the beauty, intelligence, poise and ambition of some of the most beautiful women in Cameroon. The plush Porchester Hall in West London was the place to be last Saturday night when it was descended upon by a wide cross section of African pageant supporters. The many outfits were a treat to see as women adorned themselves in traditional Cameroonian attire looking like royalty themselves.

This special occasion was organised by NTN Network Ltd in Association with a number of Cameroonian charities and community groups: the Cameroon Community Welfare Development Association (CACOWEDA) UK, Femmes Dynamiques UK and Femmes Modernes UK. The Miss Cameroon UK Beauty Pageant is an innovative way to put Cameroon on the world map and to let friends of Cameroon learn about our history, culture, tradition and all aspects of Cameroonian life including tourism and investment potential. It is a celebration of the beauty and talent of every Cameroonian woman.
