The first Spirit of the Caribbean Annual Ball and Black Honour Awards is a flagship fundraising event. Funds raised will support the free Emancipation Remembrance Day UK event.
We are excited to announce the full line-up for the Spirit of the Caribbean Annual Ball!
Our event host will be the very charming and cool, comedian Mr Cee.
We have no less than three authors doing book signings on the night. Paul Wilson will be present with his book ‘Rocking the Boat’ detailing his personal experience of institutionalised racism in the police. We have Tony Fairweather signing his book ‘Twenty-Eight Pounds Ten Shillings – A Windrush Story’. Plus Juliyah Brown, author of ‘Crushed to Sparkle’, who describes her book as ‘a holistic healing self-discovery journey journal toolkit’.
Fantastic live entertainment will be provided by Merzy Soca and Teshay Makeda.
DJs on the night: Studio One with Patrick Isaacs from Lightning FM, and Buppy C from Vibes FM.
