Condolences to the family and loved ones of Elder Reverend Hewie Andrew. For decades, as a community activist and leader, he stood for and represented justice, freedom and equality for the community here in the UK.
As a founder of The Queen Mother Moore Saturday School he raised the educational aspirations and achievements of our children.
As a Methodist church leader; Ancestor Reverend Hewie Andrew was a brave and courageous shining light and example to all theologians, spiritual representatives and especially Christian Pastors, Reverends, Popes, Vicars, Bishops and Cardinals in how to use religion as a liberating tool to combat the social enslavement of the mind and fight against the oppression of the soul from a Black theological perspective.
Ancestor Reverend Hewie Andrew lives on in all of us that have been impacted, influenced or benefitted from his tremendous works whether that be directly or indirectly.
