Anita St.Bernard, who has lived in many countries, including Japan, Lebanon, Nigeria, Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica, having worked with the Dutch Embassy and with the UN says, ‘We are here to serve and delight our customers’. Anita assures us that her extensive travel and diplomatic tours have exposed her to several cultures enabling her to speak at least four languages which will be a great asset to her varied clientele.
Husband, father and businessman Denis St.Bernard who prides himself on being a quintessential Caribbean Man with roots in Jamaica,Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada and Barbados, is hoping that The Archway Guesthouse B&B will not only get support from persons in the UK Caribbean Diaspora, who are looking for a ‘good lime’, (‘lime’ is ‘chill out’ in Caribbean parlance) food and exploring the world famous Lake District, but who will also encourage other Caribbean enterprises to explore similar opportunities in the hospitality industry in the Lake District.
