Not exactly how she envisaged her debut movie role to be recognized I’m sure but Rihanna has won the Worst Supporting Actress Award at this year’s Razzle Awards for her role in last year’s summer sci fi flop Battleship.

After the recent gun tragedies in America, several high profile names in R&B and Hip Hop have put their weight behind a new gun control initiative.

“This program aims to provide young people with an opportunity to receive guidance and inspiration from committed mentors,”
A similar program was initiated by the NYPD in 2008 but was shelved due to lack of public co-operation.
Williams who made his name managing Outkast and Goodie Mob hopes his influence and the support of others in the music industry will help to bring more positive exposure and support for this program.
“Our goal is to reach out to individuals who are in my industry, in my world and who I have an association with and get their support,”
