Many of us who grew up in the Caribbean in the ’70’s and ’80’s were fed a daily dose of the then popular Sesame Street children’s show that many of us enjoyed.
Based on the attached video of a recent parade that featured a Sesame Street troupe, a couple of actors representing Sesame Street clearly avoided and in one case pushed over a Black child who was seeking some affection. Have a look at the video and judge for yourself…
