The GUBA Expo was a three part business centred event, with each day dedicated to specific areas of business growth. The premise of the GUBA Expo was to equip businesses with knowledge, procurement insights and supply procedures for multinational companies in the UK. Topics addressed at Friday’s conference were Customer Service, International Trade, Social Media, Branding and Business Start-Up tips. A dialogue was facilitated between exhibitors, buyers and attendees, creating a platform for buyers to connect and offer investment prospects for exhibitors.

The GUBA Expo was centred on connecting Small and Medium-sized African businesses (SMBs) seeking to establish their products in the British mainstream market. These SMBs gained access to industry experts who shared knowledge and provided advice on achieving industry-set benchmarks. The event also featured exhibitions, networking and invaluable workshops.

From all appearances and judging from the degree of networking at the conference on Friday and actual trade conducted at the GUBA Expo on the Saturday and Sunday, it can be said the event was yet again a resounding success. Article and photography courtesy David F. Roberts
