He Won’t Stop Calling Me

Hi,
De Chick I don’t know how to handle this old man. He calls my phone all the time and it is as if
he just wants to hear my voice. I am just getting over a bad marriage and he calls at some odd
times. I was checking my phone log two days ago. In one week, he has called my phone fifteen
times. Do you think that he is interested in me? I am a community activist and I am all over the
place as I link up with several community concerns. He is a nice guy, right, but not my type. The
other thing is, I may be blowing this out of proportion but hear this! He spoke to me at length
about his wife and children. He said that he is no longer interested in her because she is his
cousin and he did not find out about this until about ten years ago. I am not interested in him or
anyone for that matter. But what if I change my mind someday? Right now, I am not looking for
another man in my life.
Bless up!

Hey!
Girlfriend Bless Up,
You had me laughing at your predicament. Sorry but yeah! So umm, he is definitely interested in
you. Oh, you may be out of a bad marriage, but girl, you still have it “going on!” What do I
mean? You still have what it takes to light a fire, to get the attention of this old a** man. What?
He is married to his cousin? What’s his problem? That has absolutely nothing to do with you. As
you said, you are not, repeat, not interested in him. Stick with your decision and he just seems
as if he is a lonely man. About the phone issue, you can regulate those calls. Change your
ringtone to identify when he is calling and just ignore the phone. Make an excuse or something
and yes, you can simply ask him not to call you again but then again, that might be considered
rude. On the other hand, he could turn out to be a good friend but put up those boundaries. Yes
girl! Road blocks, sign posts or whatever you call them in your part of the world. NO MORE
MEN WITH FACIAL HAIRS… or just about any other words. Place them on your profile (sorry)
or just put up a sign next to your desk. Remind yourself daily and stick with your agenda.
Remember, men are hunters and they will do anything possible to get their unsuspecting prey!
Yes, you can block him for a month and see what happens!
Good luck.
