In Carnival news, Notting Hill Carnival did not disappoint this year as the numbers surpassed 1 million with only just over 200 arrests and a few sun stroke victims.
Revellers from all over the country came out in force to the delight of other die hard carnival supporters. Representatives from many diverse groups including Brazilians, Argentinians, Portugese and other non-Caribbean nationalities joined in on the excitement.
