I believe that life experiences are some of the best types of education that anyone can receive. Think about it, everyone can be taught information or listen to advice, but true knowledge is about being able to apply it to life and experience the outcome.
Take first aid training, for example, you’ll be taught first aid, practicing on dummies in an artificial situation. It is all very well having a certificate to say that … has now completed First Aid basic training and now have that knowledge. However, it is useless if you are unable to use the knowledge you’ve gained in real life situations and therefore can’t help.
Similarly when you ask your friends, family or whoever for advice, lets say about someone you might like, and they say, “No that person is not an ideal person to go for.” or “Yes, he\she is very nice.” It is all good having this advice in your head but spending time with that person and making your own mind up is the best way to learn.
A lot of people look up to musicians and actors and obviously want to pursue their dreams like they do, but sitting around all day and not doing anything about it will not get you anywhere. Paigey Cakey is a talented actress, singer and rapper.
A couple of years ago she was just making videos on YouTube, to get her name out there and now she has been in films and will be in the new series of ‘Waterloo Road’. ‘Though It’s hard to get parts in films and TV ‘coz there is hundreds of auditions’ She does not give up, instead she strives for her dreams and has that desire for success. If she did not then do you think that she would be now appearing on cinema screens around the UK and on your TV screens?
Cashtastic is a versatile upcoming UK artist who has a lot of things going for him, but do you think that if he was to just sit around and not do anything about making his dreams a reality he would be well along the road to success?
Barack Obama is a person we all could relate to regardless of whether you are young or old. He always wanted to be the President of the United States of America but if he never took the opportunities that arose for him and just only dreamed about becoming the President, do you think that he would have succeeded?
If you have answered “no” to any of those questions, then it should be a wake up call for you to work hard and seize any opportunities that come your way be it big or small. Don’t worry if things do not work out the first time, the second or even the third time as your greatest triumph will not be in not failing but rising up after every fall.
Hold on to those dreams and keep believing, because you’re the only one who can make a difference. So have that desire for success and keep achieving.
