Rob
Multi Talented Producer, Arranger, and Film Composer.
As a Film Composer, Diggy has been quite successful and accredits his success to two of his well-known mentors, Hans Zimmer and Quincy Jones; “he says, these men have had a great impact on his life by what they have contributed to the Film and Entertainment Industry over the years.”
Rob Diggy, often called “The Sixth Man of Music”, has been compared to phenomenal Composer’s and Producer’s like Terrence Blanchard, Brian Tyler, and Danny Elfman.
When Beyonce released her Multi-Platinum “Dangerously In Love” album in 2004, it featured the smash hit “Crazy In Love”, which earned Diggy a Grammy and a Certified Gold Record for his Outstanding Keyboard Arrangement and Musicianship for the remix. Diggy also recognizes that
much of his success as an Arranger and a musician comes from another mentor and long time friend, Morris Hayes (Keyboard player for the famed artist “Prince”). Morris taught Diggy the art of keyboard synthesis and to this day still learns from him.

HOW I GOT STARTED
I always had a strong admiration and desire to play an instrument. At age fourteen I received my first guitar, a 1963 Gibson SG that I still own today, a graduation gift given to me by my uncle. I joined the high school band and found my other love the trombone, and quickly moved up in rank from beginner to advanced band in a matter of four months, it was then that I knew that I was a special talent. The band room was filled with many different instruments but what stood out was the old upright piano that was banged on daily before and after band practice. I embraced the ivories with a different perspective and immediately became familiar with the keys and started playing by ear. This was a new chapter in my life and I had no idea that this would be my next level. The trombone guitar and piano would become my main instruments for the next four years upon my college years.
