In Caribbean Sports News, Bahamian Simone Pratt, Girls 18 number one faced a tough examination from Breana Stampli the number three seed on court one, but remained completely focused when the Girls 18 Finals of the 2013 National Lotteries Authority-sponsored Seventh SVG ITF Junior Tennis Tournament was played.

Pratt who won the 2013 Coca-Cola ITF Junior Tennis Singles title in Saint Lucia a week before, did not allow third seed Stampli to settle into any rhythm, winning in straight sets 6-2 6-1.

It was consistent tennis from Pratt this morning although she made a few unforced errors, but was able to add the 2013 National Lotteries Authority-sponsored Seventh SVG ITF Junior Tennis Girls 18 title to her list of accomplishment.

According to Pratt, she is now seeking her third straight singles title in Tobago this coming week.

Meanwhile, Played on court one, the Finals of the 2013 National Lotteries Authority-sponsored Seventh SVG ITF Junior Tennis Tournament, pitted the two players who took nothing for granted and played smart, consistent tennis throughout the week-long tournament.

Facing seven seed Sami Kirberg and despite being under pressure and fully cognizant that he has a Boys 18 Doubles semifinal later in the day and a possible Boys 18 Double Final, Schalet took the first set 6-3.

He quickly followed up with a 6-2 second set win to add the 2013 National Lotteries Authority-sponsored Seventh SVG ITF Junior Tennis title to his resume.
