Jacob Miller’s larger-than-life persona and committed Reggae vocals make him one of the most memorable Jamaican performers in the genre’s history.  Songs like “Tired Fih Lick Weed Inna Bush,” “Tenement Yard” and “We A Rockers” speak to the artists commitment to his beliefs and pride for who he is and where he comes from.
Jacob Miller’s recordings as the lead singer of Inner Circle from 1974-1980 and as a solo artist encompass some of the most treasured songs of reggae’s golden era. Via Greensleeves Records, VP has distributed Who Say Jah No Dread – The Classic Augustus Pablo Sessions, which includes the all-time masterpiece “Baby I Love You So” and its version “King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown.” VP has also distributed the compilation Killer Rides Again, and the Jacob Miller Songbook: Chapter A Day, which together include the lion’s share of his most recognizable tracks, such as “Forward Jah Jah Children,” “Tired Fi Lick Weed In A Bush,” and “Forward Ever,” among dozens of others.
Though Jacob passed away in 1980, his catalog is in demand, especially at Christmas for his classic album Natty Christmas.
