Lopinot was named after the Charles Joseph Count de Loppinot (1738–1819) is located Arouca on a Mountain. It is known for its Parang ( a local music found in Trinidad and Tobago heavily influenced by Spanish heritage) Lopinot is a wonderful site to visit if vacationing in Trinidad and Tobago. - Its crystal-clear waters. Streams of spring waters along with waterfalls a visitor can enjoy a wonderful swim coupled with a nice cookout or camping in the forested areas.
- There are many agricultural estates in this area with cabins. A visitor local or foreign can enjoy picturesque views and destinations in Northern Trinidad.
- Parang- Christmas is a time for singing, and while the rest of the world sings Christmas carols, we here in Trinidad sing Parang music. A joyful and infectious music that gives you the Christmas “Vibes”
