SUMMER OF SOUL’ is a must see film! (Disney Channel) Again it is a piece of black history that was unbelievably buried to hide black creativity and splendour.
The film covers the Harlem Cultural Festival which took place the same summer as the famed Woodstock festival and boasted an attendance on par with that concert. The footage has remained in storage for the past 50 years, keeping this incredible event in America’s history lost – until now.
