So those of us who watched the finals of the ICC Cricket, twenty/20 World Cup would have seen Chris Gayle and other members of the West Indies cricket team doing the popular dance Gangnam Style, which was created by Korean pop singer Psy.  It was a popular topic for days, as people just could not get enough of Chris Gayle doing the Gangnam Style.

As if that was not enough, it was later reported in the Star newspaper that, Chris Gayle has a new dance named Chris Gayle Cover Drive and is planning on following in the footsteps of fellow cricketer Dwayne Bravo; as he will be recording a song to go with the dance.

The song will feature dancehall artist QQ.  The song will be recorded before Chris Gayle sets off to Bangladesh for the West Indies cricket tour of that country.  A video for the song will be shot when Chris returns to Jamaica and will feature fellow cricketers such as Wavel Hinds, Dwayne Bravo, and Marlon Samuels etc.

Zinga, who is also said to be a close friend of Gayle.

Well it was reported recently that Chris is worth 15 million USD so Chris is definitely not broke.  He just won the T/20 World Cup so he is not short on attention and fame either.  So why is Chris now singing?  Has it always been a passion of his to someday go into the studio?

Or is he just doing it for the sake of doing it because he can?  I love Chris Gayle but I am just curious as to why.  Whatever, the reason though, I am looking forward to that song; if it is a good song then I will listen to it and sing it, and if it is horrible, I can get some laughs out of it.  So it is a win-win situation for me.
