Theme:

‘Careers in Law: Global Options, Local Opportunities’ is a Legal Workshop organised by Coventry University Law School in collaboration with the British Foundation for the University of the West Indies (BFUWI) and the Global Leadership Programme, for international and local secondary school, college and university level students from multi-cultural backgrounds.

Conceived by BFUWI trustee, Susan Belgrave, who is herself a practising barrister at 7 Bedford Row, the event is designed to showcase the wealth of talent which exists in the legal community.  With established legal practitioners of BME heritage as key note speakers, the event will provide an opportunity for students to look at those who were forging legal careers both internationally and nationally within different or unusual areas, which young people might not have previously considered.

Location: The Mike Goldstein Auditorium      Date: 14.11.2015         Time: 13.00 PM – 17.30 PM
