The Royal couple are scheduled to arrive by boat and on arrival will inspect a Guard of Honour drawn up at the Little Bay port. Following this they will drive to Government House for an Investiture ceremony for Mrs Oeslyn Jemmotte who was earlier this year awarded the MBE for her services to Education and the Girl Guide movement.
Following this the Royal couple will tour the MVO and then take a helicopter tour of the island.
The Public Market will be alive with national dishes, sweets, fruits, vegetables and craft and everyone is invited to come down to for the first public appearance for the couple of the day. Prince Edward is also to visit the War Memorial in Little Bay and this will be followed by a reception, hosted by the Premier Hon Reuben T. Meade at the Cultural Centre.
Later in the afternoon the Royal couple will officially open the new Museum in Little Bay and then drive to the Blakes Football Field for a cultural presentation by the island’s schoolchildren.
Members of the public can witness the Royal couple at the public market, outside the new museum and at the Blakes Football Field.
