After several weeks of running the new Caribbean Christmas Quiz organised by CaribDirect Multi-Media the winners of the two coveted prizes have been announced. Staged at the Tropical Sun (TS) headquarters in Leytonstone East London, the grand final draw took place yesterday Friday 22nd December on a busy Christmas shopping day in a quiet room adorned with Tropical Sun products for the enjoyment of the 4th and 3rd prize winners and CaribDirect social media crew.

Before the final prize draw was conducted the winners of the 4th and 3rd prizes sponsored by Jewel Isle Rum Punch and Port Royal Patties, respectively were presented their prizes in person. Dawn Lindo-Morgan from Jamaica based in London was most pleased to accept her beautiful rum punch hamper and said, ‘I thank the organisers of this competition and think it was a very good idea’.
Margaret St John from Grenada based in London gladly took her 3rd prize and praised the initiative as ‘very interesting and fun’. The event was facilitated by Tropical Sun marketing manager Jag Singh and the TS representative presenting the prizes to the winners was Vaseva Qarau.

The coveted first and second prizes were bestowed upon two deserving winners who were among the 30 qualified participants from Jamaica, Grenada, Barbados, St Lucia, Germany, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago. The second prize of a Tropical Sun sponsored food hamper was awarded to Vashtine McCalla Smith from Jamaica while the first prize, a weekend for two at the Archway Guesthouse in the Lake District, Cumbria was presented under drum roll to Nicole-Rachelle Moore from Trinidad and Tobago, both based in London.

From the relative success of this competition the CaribDirect team has decided to conduct similar quizes throughout the year in collaboration with companies and organisations keen to get their branding in front of a wide and varied Caribbean inspired demographic.
