Caribbean news. Revered veteran Jamaican entertainer, Glendon Bailey, more popularly known as Admiral Bailey, has been slapped with several fraud-related charges after allegedly using false identity in an attempt to renew his passport.

Reports Monday say that at around 10:30 a.m., the musician attended the Passport Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) offices, attempting to renew his passport under the name Michael George Sullivan. Upon further inspection, his identity was revealed and was subsequently arrested by PICA officers.

Admiral Bailey faces two counts of uttering forged documents, two counts of obtaining passport by false pretence, two counts of possession of forged documents, one count of attempting to obtain a passport by false pretence and one count of conspiracy to defraud.

Bailey is scheduled to appear in court on March 5 to answer charges.
