America news. We’ve all been waiting for the Daily Show to talk about Michael Brown’s death and the ongoing protests in Ferguson. Jon Stewart returned from vacation this week to do just that, devoting almost the entire show to the news coverage of the event.

Stewart opened by doing the “Ferguson Protest Challenge,” swapping the Ice Bucket Challenge’s cold water for mace and tear gas.
His most powerful segment on Ferguson blasts Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, and other Fox personalities. Fox wondered why the media wasn’t talking about black-on-black crime in the US. Stewart’s response?
“Yes! Why all the interest in holding police officers to a higher standard than gangs? They both flash colors and, yes, one of them has been sworn to protect and defend, but still.”
Stewart continued to destroy Fox and their Ferguson coverage that has said over and over again how the incident has been unjustly called a race issue.
“Do you not understand that life in this country is inherently different for white people and black people?” Stewart asked, adding, “Race is there and it is a constant. You’re tired of hearing about it? Imagine how f***ing exhausting it is living it.”
