Home African Caribbean Airfare Lobby Campaign gathers momentum in Birmingham

In Business news. Dear Fellow Jamaicans & Caribbeans &  Friends of Jamaica &

The Caribbean. As the Christmas season is on we would like to let you know that the campaign is intensifying and we have not given up the campaign even in this festive season.

Before we go any further the team would like to thank everybody so far for your support and spreading the word.

We can also confirm that we have written to both Virgin and British Airways and we have not had the courtesy of a response or an acknowledgment as yet, but we are encouraged as we are now over 10,500 for the online signature and over 4000 for the paper signatures with many more to come in.

Please see two clips of our recent trip to Birmingham for further insight and to familiarise yourself with the team at the head table.

We can confirm that we have now appointed Campaign Ambassadors (CA) for the following regions:

Sylbourne Sydial

Director of the FFBJ, Sylbourne Sydial

1.    Northampton

2.    Nottingham

3.    Birmingham

4.    Bristol

If you would like to be a part of their team kindly email us at [email protected] Finally, do tune to BBC London Sunday December 29th  at 8pm, 94.9Fm or www.bbc.co.uk/bbclondon to listen to interview with Paul Lawrence, Consultant and Spokesperson for the campaign about plans and action on the campaign against high airfares.
