The Guyana High Commission is pleased to invite you to this year’s Evensong Service in commemoration of Guyana’s Republic Anniversary. The service will be held on Friday 23rd February 2024 at Westminster Abbey from 5:00 pm.
The Evensong Service is an annual event hosted by the Canon Theologian & Almoner of Westminster Abbey in observance of Guyana’s National Day. The service is conducted with prayers for the nation and its people and includes the reading of the second lesson by the High Commissioner of Guyana.
All attendees are asked to be seated by 4:45 pm at the Great West Door. Please note that the seating for this event is strictly limited to 30 attendees and the High Commission will, therefore, confirm attendance on a first-come, first serve basis.
