Last Monday October 15th the sharpest actors and actresses, signed and unsigned graced the RichMix venue in East London for the famed TriForce Promotions: MonologueSlam UK™.

This FREE platform is for actors to practice their craft and improve their performance skills in front of a welcoming audience and a panel of industry professionals in a position to move their careers forward.

The event has attracted some of the UK top Directors / Producerswho served as judges such as Justin Young, BBC Producer & Playwright; Oliver Kent
BBC Senior Producer; Julia Crampsie BBC Casting Director and Claire Hoath Agent – Claire Hoath Management.

First act up was the 1 minute Smack Down, kicked off by Jonathon Luwagga who did ‘Through the wire’ by Adam Tulloch.

The second act was Ana Luderowski who performed a piece called ‘When you cure me’ by Jack Thorne

Kemar Downey followed quickly doing ‘Crazyblackmotherfuckerinself by DeObia Oparei

Cheryl Williams performing ‘Laughing Wild’ by Christopher Durang

Marilii Saar took to the stage and shocked the audience with Roberto Zucco by Bernard-Marie Koltes.

Melissa Palleschi mesmerised the audience with her ‘Valhalla’ by Paul Rudnick.
