While others are spending the weekend bundled up to keep warm, Simon Cowell decided to head south to Barbados to celebrate the Christmas holiday.
The “X Factor” judge was spotted enjoying some time on a personal watercraft Dec. 24 — just days after the “X Factor” finale in which 19-year-old Melanie Amaro took home the winning title.
“She was a good contestant because she thought long and hard about how she would interpret songs,” Cowell told PEOPLE after Amaro won. “Every week we were discovering something new in her.”
