NATIONAL WATER AND SEWERAGE AUTHORITY (NAWASA) GIVING A LITTLE AT CHRISTMAS

Date:

NAWASA continued the tradition of giving at this time of year via distribution of hampers to some of our well deserving customers.  30 customers were selected as recipients for a NAWASA Christmas Hamper using a combination of factors to include vulnerability of customer and commitment shown by customer to honouring their monthly bill payment.

Hampers were distributed to recipients in Grenada on Friday 16th and Monday 19th December, 2011, and in Carriacou on Monday 19th December, 2011.  Hampers included toiletries, food items and favoured specialties at this time of year – ham and sparkling beverage.

“Christmas is a time of giving, a time for family and friends. This small gesture belies the importance and value that we at NAWASA place on our customers and any measure of joy we are able to add to their lives is a privilege”,  says General Manager, Christopher Husbands.

NAWASA is pleased to be able to extend this small token of appreciation to customers who by consistent action have shown an extraordinary level of appreciation for the service we offer and who continue to place a high value on the precious resource that is water.

Customers expressed surprise and delight at being selected to receive the gifts and commented on its timely delivery.

The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of NAWASA extend to everyone wishes of  joy, peace and prosperity for the season and for 2012.
