African Aesthetic, Black Beauty, Celebrated in Fashion – Tata Naka

Date:

So why do we love Tata Naka?

It’s always great to see the African aesthetic and black beauty celebrated in fashion and this collection sums up the impact that African aesthetics already have on the fashion industry. Black style is the new chic and elements of this can been seen across the industry from the high street to the runway.

This afrocentric collection is the work of Central Saint Martins graduates Tamara and Natasha Surguladze who set up their label together after graduating.

Tata Naka AW12 collection is inspired by Motown and African tribes. This collection is bold exiting and adventurous and we love the playfulness and fun factor of the collection, design, textiles, styling, hair and make-up. So ladies it’s clear that you don’t have to search to far from home for class and style, it looks like the world of fashion is finally catching up with black beauty in all it’s forms.
