Antigua St John’s – ABI Insurance Co Ltd recently presented Antigua & Barbuda Swim Team Captain Courtney Vigo with a cheque to assist with offsetting expenses to allow the 29-member team to participate in the upcoming OECS Swim Championships in St Lucia from November 4 to 6.

In thanking ABI Insurance, Swim Team Manager Gillian Noel-Bigler noted that “swimming is the fastest growing sport in Antigua & Barbuda, and it is enjoying a heightened level of increased public interest that has grown exponentially each year.

We hope that, in coming years, we may continue to count on your support, and once more express our appreciation for your generosity.”

Sherrie-Ann Brazier, senior PR & marketing officer for ABI Insurance, said “the Company is committed to making a difference.

We understand that swimming fosters strong character development in student athletes, preparing them for successful careers in school, college, and beyond; teaching life skills through organised physical activity, goal setting, time management, accountability, and responsibility.”
