This is not a new statement but we in the Caribbean know our governments spin the Caribbean to invite tourists to come and enjoy the SANDS, SEA, SUN and SEX. What the governments don’t tell the tourists is the level of poverty, the 3rd world health care systems, the vast increase in AIDS cases, the high crime rates and so on.
I do not enjoy looking at the Caribbean negatively but I want to be honest. The foreign cash the Caribbean territories get assists in theoperations of the various islands. They depend on it, so we know the reason for not being totally honest to out international friends. What do you think…should be come clean to our visitors about the societal truths…?
