The purpose of this social networking is to connect people across the world. It incompasses second by second updates on the site. It increases social interaction. In some cases it decreases time consumptions. However, adding people you don’t know and talking to them online is sort of unsafe and retarded.
Social networking sites have today left individuals socially retarded. Their ability to commuincate interpersonally has been replaced by lazy online social interaction over the internet (L.O.S.I.) This type of
interaction, as I had mentioned before is unsafe. Sharing personal information and exposing your face to the world is not a very smart idea.( to some extent)
Stalkers and pedophiles live on these social networking sites. Despite the security features, individual’s information and internet security is left wide open. What is your feeling about this phenomenon?
