Have you ever taken time to talk to yourself and answer this question? “Why do I procrastinate?” Probably you haven’t. I did recently, and I was surprised to learn the cause behind it.
Firstly, I procrastinate was because whatever it was I didn’t really want to do and not in the sense that you’d agree and say, exactly that’s why! I realised if I’d wanted to do ‘it’ it would have been done a long time ago. Secondly, I realised procrastination made me tired. So of course, that’s another reason why ‘it’ didn’t get done.
So now I’m putting a time line on everything that needs doing, and if I don’t do it by then, I will simply cross if off my list!
