Virgin Islands Roots Dawtah singing of Love, Unity, Strength and all the things she would LIKE TO SEE. I believe in the Most High & keep my faith through uplifting music says Mada Nile.

Mada Niles’ mother

Growing up in her early years spent with her mother and nine brothers in Paradise Project St. Croix in reflection are some of her best years. Although those times were not always easy, she was blessed to be surrounded with friends that shared her love of music.

Mada Nile in young years

In 2000 during a show in Atlanta a promoter stated that her lyrics flowed like the river Nile thus she was dubbed “Mada Nile” from that point on.  Her mother’s love of music also exposed her to different artist such as Bob Marley, Israel Vibrations, Lucky Dube, and Teddy Pendergrass just to name a few to which she credits her love/devotion of music since her high school days.

designer/seamstress of royal wear, hair technician all while gracefully being a full-time mother of two children.

With three albums under her belt the independent artist is now launching her fourth album simply entitled “Dream Big”. Rise Today, Many Roads, and On My Way were the titles of her previous albums. “On My Way” which follows closely on the heels of “Many Roads” features “14” songs that address topics of truth, rights, relationships, farming, hard-work, family, love and rastafari.

Empress Mada Nile serves as the voice of the people while her song entitled “I would like to see” is an unstoppable anthem of uplifting, spiritual power to combat the senseless violence plaguing St. Croix and other global communities http://youtu.be/yOW8-EriCvI .  Her first V.I Radio rotations included her hits “Why, Mother and Empress Loving”.

She has graced the stage with accomplished artist such as Beres Hammond, Tanya Stephens, and Capelton along with fellow VI artist Sabbatical Andah, Batch, Pressure, Dezarie and Ras Attitude. Watch out for Mada Fyah Nile for she is a force to be reckoned with.
