On Thursday, the police charged two 23-year-old young men, Dominic Bernard’s God brother, Aaron Hing and his friend Staymon George with the same murder.

On Friday morning, Hing’s pregnant girlfriend and her mother along with another young man found themselves before the Chief Magistrate to answer to the murder charge.

The three, Krystel Thomas, Sinfine Henry and Jahmell Sinclair were not required to enter a plea to the indictable charge.

They are all being represented by Attorney at Law, Nigel Hughes who raised a number of questions about the murder charge being laid against the three additional accused.

All of the cases have been transferred to the Whim Magistrates’ Court for the start of the inquiry. The Prosecution intends to provide evidence linking all five of the defendants to the murder of the teenager who came to Guyana on October 14, 2015 for a visit.

It is believed that he was murdered the same night and his body buried in the backdam of the Kildonan village in Berbice. The God brother, Aaron Hing initially reported that he had not seen the young man and was unaware that he had arrived in the country.

However, when the Police got a tip of where the man’s body was buried, Hing went missing and was eventually arrested at a city hotel.  The others were arrested as the investigations widened.
