Applications are invited from persons resident in the UK for the post of Secretary/Accounts Officer in the High Commission for St Vincent and the Grenadines. The salary is negotiable within the range of £20,000 to £22,000 depending on experience. This is not a diplomatic post.

Description of duties for the post of Secretary/Accounts Officer
• Maintaining and planning the High Commissioner’s Diary
• Research on matters of political and economic interest as directed by the High Commissioner
• Preparation of a Mission’s monthly magazine
• Receive incoming mails by post or electronic post to the Mission and respond as directed by the High Commissioner
• Assistance with the preparation the Mission’s accounts for submission to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Any other duties assigned to the post holder by the High Commissioner
