New York, NY – G2K NY and the Diaspora community welcomes the results of the local Government election, held on March 26, 2012 and we congratulate all the winners.

The people have spoken and they have sent a clear message, that they want the ruling People’s National Party to represent them at the central and local level. The Government now having a majority at all levels; we expect them to execute their duties in a non-partisan way and will represent all Jamaicans across political divide.

With the results of the elections now behind us, let us work together to advance the cause of our nation. In particular, let’s work expeditiously to make local government and Parish Councils more responsive to the people’s needs. Give the reform teeth so it works for the people.

G2K NY and the Diaspora believe a viable local government gives a stronger voice at the community level and make the community involve in the delivery of the necessary services.
G2K NY offers ourselves and the various professional service and expertise at our disposal to advance the continued development of our homeland, Jamaica Land We Love.
