Dear Diaspora Members,
The High Commission is pleased to inform you that the Commonwealth Fair will be held this year on 11th November 2023 at the Kensington Community Hall. (See flyer attached)
The High Commission will be participating in this year’s Fair and invites you and members of your organisations to visit and support the Guyana stall at this event.
The Commonwealth Fair is organised annually by the Commonwealth Countries League (CCL) to raise funds for the Commonwealth Girls Education Fund. The Fair also provides an opportunity for attendees to revel in the unique culture, food, craft and symbolism of countries across the Commonwealth.
Apart from attending the event, you and your organisation can also participate in this year’s fair in the following ways:
- Advertising your business or organisation in the Fair Brochure (Brochure form is attached)
- Sponsoring (Sponsorship form is attached)
- Private stallholder (Please email [email protected] )
- Performing traditional dances, soulful songs and other artistic expressions
You will be updated with any relevant information regarding the High Commission’s stall as the event approaches.
