The Cari-Bois Environmental News Network is inviting editors, reporters, broadcasters, commentators, writers, storytellers to the first installment of The Climate Breakdown webinar series for Caribbean media practitioners, scheduled for Thursday, April 20, 10.30am-12pm AST
Coming on the heels of the release of the latest IPCC report, this webinar draws on wide-ranging regional expertise:
  • Rueanna Haynes (TT), Director, Climate Analytics, Caribbean
  • Colin Young (BZ), Executive Director, Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre
  • Tyrone Hall (JA), Climate Justice Strategic Advisor, Open Society Foundations
The session will address:
–  The Caribbean’s place in the complex world of climate change diplomacy.
–  The process of regional climate-related policy-making and implementation – what does it involve?
–  How decisions at the regional level can be expected to show up in our daily lives.
–  How we prioritise climate justice in the climate crisis.
