Yana Johnson launched her music career writing poetry which won competitions and gained a platform on BBC Radio in her early teens. She was then challenged to write songs which quickly attracted a record and publishing deal Executive Producing her 1st album in her early 20’s selling over 40,000 copies of her album ‘Bring it on’ before moving on to graduate her bachelors Degree at University of Greenwich London.
The pull of her creative talents caused her to take a sabbatical from her MA in Internal business, to the appeal of a UK tour with a band, going full circle to be awarded some years later with the accolade of her MBE (Member of the British Empire) awarded by HRH Prince Charles in 2009 for services to cosmetics with her award winning online brand
