Lopinot was named after the Charles Joseph Count de Loppinot (1738–1819) is located Arouca on a Mountain. It is known for its Parang ( a local music found in Trinidad and Tobago heavily influenced by Spanish heritage) Lopinot is a wonderful site to visit if vacationing in Trinidad and Tobago. Some of its sites include:

1. Its crystal-clear waters. Streams of spring waters along with waterfalls a visitor can enjoy a wonderful swim coupled with a nice cookout or camping in the forested areas.
2. There are many agricultural estates in this area with cabins. A visitor local or foreign can enjoy picturesque views and destinations in Northern Trinidad.
3. Parang- Christmas is a time for singing, and while the rest of the world sings Christmas carols, we here in Trinidad sing Parang music. A joyful and infectious music that gives you the Christmas “Vibes”
4. Hotel and Spas- Hotels such as Boutique and Luxury Lopinot Hotels, Economy Lopinot Hotels and Lopinot Inn and Suites are some of the many hotels available, that offer free breakfast, Taxifare to and from Airport, tours and Camping.
5. Sampling our Chocolate. A simple google search will show that Trinidad and Tobago produces the best Cocoa in the world. Our Cocoa is used to flavor some of the top brands of chocolate in the world. A trip to Lopinot will get you a first hand experience or should I say a first taste experience of the best Chocolate in the world produced and packaged by hand.
