My name is Preet and I am an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Consultant at The Equal Group. We are an EDI consultancy established to help organisations eradicate bias in the workplace by providing them with the support and tools that they need to implement innovative and sustainable diversity and inclusion solutions.
We are working alongside the Greater London Authority (GLA) and the Mayor of London to deliver a Recruitment Drive encouraging young Black men to consider careers in the Construction and Infrastructure industries. This is an exciting 3-day event (5th-7th July) where key companies from both sectors will deliver presentations, workshops and Q&A sessions for young Black men in attendance, leaving them feeling empowered to embark on their own job applications for the opportunities on offer.
