At the beginning of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine many from within the African Caribbean community in the UK have been saying, ‘that war is a white man’s war and nothing to do with us’! Well, as the world economy begins to show signs of slowing with fuel scarcity and now wheat and grain scarcity that is affecting much of Africa and to some degree, the Caribbean, people within the African and Caribbean communities are begining to take a different position on the relevance of the war to them. Here is a rather interesting account of the actual impact of the war on ALL of us.
