Spirituality. Well it’s Christmas the time of year when men, women, and children are shopping for the perfect Christmas present to give to their loved ones. There is more to Christmas than presents, Christmas trees, decorations, and fancy feasts. Jesus is the reason for the season.
We must remember to celebrate Christ’s birth at Christmas. The bible reads in Matthew 1:20-22 “But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus,because he will save his people from their sins.”22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”(which means “God with us”)

One of the best gifts you can give your family and friends is your presence. Gifts are tangible, can break and don’t last forever but, the memories you create spending quality time with your family and friends worshipping your higher power is a one of a kind memorable present.
Be sure to attend a church service with them and to repent from all of your sins. John 3:16 “16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” It’s the most wonderful time of the year. Celebrate Christ this Christmas. Amen
