It was a night to behold. Six beautiful young women representing various businesses and paraded in the most elegant outfits before a large appreciative audience at the fabulous Carnival Village The Tabernacle in West London.
Rum Punch security? No, these lovely ladies shared it willingly
Guests were treated to a true TrinBagonian delicacy, Caribbean Rum Punch. Displayed in an authentic Caribbean setting at the entrance of the venue the sweet cocktail was served by two adorable young ladies clad in carnival costumes exuding the unique culture of Trinidad and Tobago.

Nothing is more representative of Trinidad and Tobago than steel band and the appearance of three seasoned pan men at the entrance made for a very special experience as they played a few calypso favourites.

Organised and directed by pageant supremo Ms Angela Cox under the Carivog International umbrella, the night was one of precision timing, on point coordination and splendid display.

His Excellency the High Commissioner for Trinidad and Tobago Garvin Nicholas graced the event with his presence and participated in the crowing ceremony.

The evening was hosted by the experienced Dr Patrick Williams who also choreographed the show and co-hosted by the wonderful Alafair Celestine, former beauty queen and QuizTime Game show hostess.

Typical of the Miss Trinidad & Tobago Pageant was the variety of entertainment suited to the taste of an expectant Caribbean audience. background music was rendered by the popular soca disc jockey, DJ Rebel.

Following the recital of the Trinidad and Tobago National Anthem lead by J DOE the event was opened with a cultural dance by the Muraldo Dance Company. The Shango dance was meant to welcome power and prosperity to the pageant.

The entertainment on the night included: a carnival costume display danced by Shona Muraldo Parks; a steel pan rendition by Deborah Romain; soca song by Trini Boi Juicy; a stick fight by the Muraldo Dance Company; drumming by Tassa Drummers; an Indian dance by Chandani Persaud and a saxaphone serenade of the contestants by Ricardo Seals.

Several awards were bestowed on the contestants and one was specially awarded to pageant director Angela Cox for her unstinted service to the Trinidad and Tobagan community.
