The Jamaica National Building Society UK Representative Office is proudly celebrating its 25th Anniversary in the United Kingdom this year, marking a milestone of dedicated service to Jamaicans in the UK Diaspora and several activities have been organized for our members and the community at large.

We are pleased to extend an invitation for you to attend our 25th Anniversary Convention which be held in London on Friday September 6, 2013 at Kensington Town Hall and in Birmingham on Saturday September 7, 2013 at the Bethel Convention Centre.

These two events will commence at 2:00 p.m. and will include a Real Estate Fair to showcase properties in Jamaica and a Home Ownership Seminar to provide information on how to purchase a home in Jamaica; an Immigration Seminar to provide an update on recent Immigration changes and a Seminar on Personal Financial matters to include budgeting, personal taxation and investment.

The event will culminate with a presentation featuring Mr Earl Jarrett, General Manager, motivational speaker Beverley Manley Duncan and special entertainment direct from Jamaica.

Admission is free however you will require a ticket for general admission and to attend the seminars. Tickets can be obtained via telephone at 0207 708 6614 or by emailing JN[email protected] or from any JN Office.

Earl Jarrett

 

Mr. Earl Jarrett, Deputy Chairman
F.C.A., M.Sc. Hons. (Accounting)

Mr. Jarrett is the General Manager of the Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS), the largest building society in the Caribbean. The Society has 29 locations in Jamaica, ten operating offices in the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States of America, and the Cayman Islands.

Hon. Aloun Ndombet-Assamba
High Commissioner for Jamaica

Her Excellency  Ndombet-Assamba is a Jamaican lawyer, politician and diplomat. She was formerly Member of Parliament for Saint Ann South Eastern and served as Jamaica’s Minister of Tourism, Entertainment, and Culture. She was born in St Ann’s Bay and educated at Convent of Mercy Academy where she was Deputy Head Girl.

Beverley Manley Duncan
International speaker and author

Beverley Manley Duncan is best remembered by many as the political firebrand of the 1970s who, as the Afrocentric wife of the then Prime Minister Michael Manley, was co-responsible for charting the radical political path of the era.
