It is now August, and the summer is in full swing. The songs are coming in and the party people are in full party mode. Of course without the songs there would be no parties.
So with summer being the longest party season, party patrons look forward to their favourite artists to deliver the goods so they can have a good time.
So far the songs are coming in and based on the songs that are currently ‘doing road’ it is safe to say that this summer will be a ‘dash out’ summer. Konshens is leading the ‘dash out’ pack with his pre summer hit, ‘Bubble’ which has maintained a staple at party sessions for the summer, and the follow up track to that track, ‘Stop Sign’.
Another hot song for this summer is ‘Jump’ by RDX. While I am not too particularly fond of this track due to the fast pace of the beat, it has made its way into all the hot parties and radio stations; and the other females (besides me of course) seem to be in love with this one.
Bruck it Dung by Vegas has been out since last summer but it seems to be getting more attention now than when it was first released. Last year, named this song as one of my favourites for the summer last year, though it did not get all the exposure it should have last summer.

It however picked up some speed, later down in the year and became very popular and has not slowed down since. This song is certainly one of the hottest for summer 2012.
Not to be outdone though is Summer Wave by Popcaan. Though this is not a dash out song, it is stillvery popular this summer. This is a flossing song. I guess Popcaan is still in the flossing mood from last summer.
Of course there are many more songs that are doing well this summer that I did not mention. what are some of your favourites so far?
