“I am overjoyed to be representing my country during the Jubilee Year at the World Finals of the Miss Princess of the World Beauty Pageant. This is my present to the motherland in commemoration of 50 years of Zambian Independence, and I promise to make Zambia proud.” says Andella on her departure for the Czech Republic this morning from Stanstead Airport in London.
Andella, who has previously represented Zambia at the Miss Universe Pageant, will be joining over 60 delegates from all around the world who will be competing for the prestigious and coveted title of 2014 Miss Princess of the World.
During her reign as Miss Zambia UK, Andella has been a Goodwill Ambassador for Contesa Charity, for whom she has helped raise over £100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Pounds Sterling), which is the equivalent of ZMW 1,005,740 or ZMK 831,650,000 in Zambian Kwacha, for children living with HIV/AIDS and other underprivileged children in Zambia who are supported by the Contesa Charity.
“Miss Zambia UK Beauty Pageant is dedicated to the memory of Zambian women who have died from HIV/AIDS. Our winners and title-holders utilize their position and influence to attract goodwill towards HIV/AIDS orphans, and also to raise funds for the welfare of HIV/AIDS orphans in Zambia”, says Justina Mutale, Founder of Miss Zambia UK Beauty Pageant.
Miss Mutale, who is the Founder of the Miss Zambia UK Beauty Pageant and is also Founder of POSITIVE RUNWAY: Global Catwalk to Stop the Spread (of HIV/AIDS), has been invited to sit on the Judging Panel at the World Finals of the 2014 Miss Princess of the World Beauty Pageant.
In addition to physical beauty, the judging process for the Miss Princess of the World pageant also includes the delegates to have high intellect, effective communication skills, and computer skills in addition to entrepreneurship skills.
