With Beyonce’s Lemonade being the hot topic at the moment and the recent white-washed images of Lil Kim being trending topics at the moment, the notion of black female beauty is being considered by many. While Bee talks of the “Becky with the good hair” – a supposed allusion to white females, this artist turns that notion on its head.
Artist Pierre Jean-Louis has created a series of images which celebrates black women’s natural hair by superimposing various scenes from nature in it. The results are visually amazing!
