For decades Africa has been plagued with insurgencies of one type or another leading to coups and violent regime changes. Much of these occurences have been the result of political interefence from western nations intent on exacting control over the natural resources of these rich but mismanaged countries. This intellectual has an interesting perspective on where things are and how things can be improved in Africa. There is a lesson here for the Caribbean!
